love the minefield
sex the final assault
tremors of emotion
slides along the miles of desire
hovering over
from behind
simple pleasures
nights aflame
but still the shadows come
and the lights hide the lust
the minefield
can be kept outdoors
in the cold
alone
to be missed
by the curious lovers
(I was given a cd-rom that promised to teach me Hebrew and all I found was disapointment, yes, I learnt the names of the letters but I couldn't say hello if my life depended on it)

hey,
to bad about that cd, the little sign says what it's says in english "beware minefield" [there lot's of them in the concerds zone of north israel/palestina:]]
lots of people say that hebrew is very hard launguge to learn so don't be bummed about it,
hello=shalom but it's a bit formal so we say "hey" like in english...
I was reading that since you read it right lo left it's possible that demands more cognitive effort than reading it left to right. I also saw on that cd that everyday writting doesn't include vowels and that it required a good knowledge of the language to read Hebrew (as well as a pragmatic and semantic knowledge!)
Anyway, I'll stop here

i'm sure you'll get the chance to study it properly-
i remmeber you told me you speak and study lots of launguges
so you sure have the gift for that[+your english is perfect!]
i'm 24 and only in the last year i started speak corect hebrew
[the grammer is a bitch+it's upset uptight people:]]
and if you have questions about how to say something feel free to ask me,
bye =lhitraot=להתראות
I certainly hope so! there's a school that teaches Greek, Latin and Hebrew, which are considered very exotic languages in Mexico, so I hope to study it sometime when my schedule fits.
I only speak English, French and obviously Spanish and I am studying German (and I took a little class on Arabic, but of course I just remember the numbers!) , and you're right, once you study a foreign language the others become easier.
Anyway, I'm still hopeful and excited about Hebrew! Someday!
Ihitraot!
